Booking
These terms apply when you book the mtb studios podcast and content studio at Bonded Warehouse, Lower Byrom Street, Manchester M3 4AP. The studio is run by mtb studios, a trading name of Vengros Ltd (company number 15053980).
- Every booking made through our website starts as a request. Your booking is confirmed once we've accepted it by email.
- Prices are shown on our studio page and are per session, at the price shown when you book.
- By sending a booking request, you agree to these terms.
Payment
- Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send an invoice, payable by bank transfer before your session.
- Add-ons, such as remote guests or a teleprompter, are added to your invoice.
- We may release a session that hasn't been paid for by its start time.
Changing or cancelling
- You can move or cancel your session with at least 48 hours' notice, free of charge. Just email us at enquiries@mtbstudios.co.uk.
- With less than 48 hours' notice, or if you don't arrive, the full session fee is payable.
- If we ever need to cancel your session, we'll offer you another date or a full refund.
Your session
- Your session runs for the time you've booked, including setting up and packing down. Please arrive on time, because we can't always extend a session if the studio is booked afterwards.
- The studio has space for up to four people recording at once.
- Studio lighting, a table, chairs, and set decor are included in every booking.
- Recording and delivery, and podcast edit, sessions include an mtb studios operator, three cameras, and up to four mics.
Self-op hire
- Self-op hire gives you private use of the studio to record on your own cameras, with our studio mics and lighting. We'll check you in and show you the set-up, and we're on site if you need help.
- You're responsible for your own equipment, for looking after our mics while you use them, and for the recordings you make.
- Please leave the studio lighting and set in place and as you found them.
Looking after the studio
- Please treat the studio, equipment, and the wider Bonded Warehouse building with care and follow any instructions from our team or the building.
- No smoking or vaping in the studio, and please keep drinks away from the cameras, mics, and lighting.
- You're responsible for the cost of any damage to the studio or our equipment caused by you or your guests, beyond normal wear and tear.
- We may end a session early if anyone behaves in a way that's unsafe or puts the studio or other people at risk.
Your recordings
- Recordings you make during self-op hire belong to you.
- With recording and delivery, we hand over the full recording after your session. With podcast edit, you own the final, exported episode once it's paid for in full.
- You're responsible for having the rights and permissions for everything you record, including your guests' consent and any music you play.
Liability
We take care to provide a safe, working studio. We're not responsible for loss of or damage to your personal belongings or equipment, or for indirect losses. Our total liability for a booking is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Our general terms of business also apply where relevant.
